Homer Spit Sunrise

A December sunrise view of the Homer spit in Homer, Alaska. The spit stretches 4.5 miles into Kachemak Bay. In the summer the spit is the center of non-stop activity with fishing and bear viewing charters, a marina, art galleries, gift shops and restaurants vying foir visitors business.
