Dapper Dandy

Is this guy cool or what? This is a Steller's Jay (Cyanocitta stelleri). Found throughout western Canada and coastal Alaska, they travel in small groups and feed mainly on seeds. They are among the first to arrive at road kills and kills by predators; they love a tasty meat snack. Wingspan 19-20 inches, length 11-12 inches, weight 3-4 ounces.
