RED-FACED CORMORANT

Phalacrocorax urile. Found only in the coastal areas of Alaska, these large, fish-eating birds nest on the coastal cliffs of the Aleutian and Commander islands. We photographed this bird on St George island. length 30 inches, wingspan 45 inches, weight 4 to 5 lbs.
